Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is life coaching?
Life coaching is a supportive, future-focused process that helps you bridge the gap between where you are now and where you’d like to be. A coach acts as a guide and partner, helping you clarify goals, identify obstacles, and take practical steps forward. Unlike advice-giving, coaching is about drawing out your own strengths and solutions.

How is life coaching different from therapy, counseling, or mentoring?
Therapy often explores the past to heal emotional wounds or mental health conditions. Mentoring usually involves guidance from someone with experience in a specific field.
Life coaching, on the other hand, is forward-looking and action-oriented. It’s about helping you build clarity, confidence, and strategies for growth. Coaching is not a replacement for therapy but can complement it beautifully when your focus is on creating positive change in your present and future.

What areas of life can a coach help me with?
Coaching can be applied to many areas, including:
-
Stress and burnout management
-
Career transitions and professional growth
-
Self-confidence and self-worth
-
Building better habits and routines
-
Setting healthy boundaries in relationships
-
Improving work–life balance
Research from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) shows clients often report improved self-confidence, stronger relationships, enhanced communication skills, and greater life satisfaction after working with a coach.

Do I need to have a specific goal before starting coaching?
Not at all. Some clients come with a clear goal (like changing careers), while others simply know they feel stuck or overwhelmed. Part of the coaching process is helping you uncover what matters most to you, so you gain clarity along the way.

How does a typical coaching session work?
Each session is a safe, judgment-free space to explore your challenges and goals. We’ll start with a check-in, then focus on a specific topic or area you’d like to work on. I’ll use proven coaching frameworks, reflective questions, and practical tools to help you create insight and action steps.
We end with a clear plan so you leave each session with direction.

How many sessions will I need before I see results?
Every client is unique, but many begin noticing shifts after just 2–3 sessions. Sustainable change usually happens over a series of weeks or months. That’s why I recommend starting with a package as it provides consistency, accountability, and momentum toward your goals.

How quickly can I expect to see change?
Some clients experience immediate relief simply from having clarity and a plan. Others notice steady growth over time. Research shows that coaching often increases accountability and follow-through, which accelerates progress compared to working alone.

Do we meet in person or online?
Most coaching sessions are held online via Zoom or video call, which makes it flexible and accessible wherever you are. In-person sessions may also be available depending on location.

Can I try one session before committing to a package?
Absolutely. I offer a complimentary discovery call to explore your needs and answer any questions. After that, you can book a single session or choose a package that fits your goals.

Is everything I share with you confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of coaching. Everything you share stays private, creating a safe environment where you can be honest and open without judgment.

What kind of qualifications or training do you have?
I am a certified life coach and also bring over a decade of experience in high-pressure environments, team dynamics, wellness practices (yoga, meditation, nutrition), and holistic living. My approach blends evidence-based coaching methods with tools that support the whole person through mind, body, and purpose.

What are your fees?
Fees vary depending on whether you choose single sessions or packages. Packages are designed to give the best value, with structured support over several weeks. I also offer flexible payment options to make coaching accessible.

Can I stop at any time if I feel it’s not right for me?
Yes. Coaching is a choice, and you’re always in control of the process. While I recommend committing to a package for best results, you are free to step away at any time if it no longer feels aligned.
